HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

The Department of Arabic was among the first academic programs the university took off in 2005. It had four tenure academic staff and one secretarial staff, with 12 students enrolled.  As of 2023, the Department has 22 academic staff over 300 undergraduate students and more than 60 postgraduate Students.
