Welcome to the Department of Islamic Studies at Kaduna State University.
To actualize the vision and mission, the Department provides the highest standard of quality teaching, research, and conferences. Achieving the mission will add value to graduates and provide service to humanity.
The Department of Arabic was among the first academic programs the university took off in 2005. It had four tenure academic staff and one secretarial staff, with 12 students enrolled. As of 2023, the Department has 22 academic staff over 300 undergraduate students and more than 60 postgraduate Students.
