The French Department housed in the Faculty of Arts, College of Humanities, Kaduna State University, is one of the pioneer programs when the university took off in 2005. It currently runs two programs, viz: B.A. (HONS), and PGDE. The department has a complimentary staff of one Professor, two lecturers, and five others including a language laboratory technologist. The department publishes the Kaduna State University Journal of French (KASUJOF).
